Along the urban roads, come along my dear

To the bustling streets, to the stalls around.
Where vendors and their goods
Gleam up the Chinese market.
Decked with red and gold lanterns,
Their warm glow cast secrets untold.
While the aroma of spices, rich and deep,
Attracts passer-by to take a peep.
The breeze filled with paper dragons dancing,
As the trees whisper ancient melodies.
The porcelain clinks, the silk rustles,
In this lively market, every sense fills.
A feast for the senses, as dumplings steamed,
And sweet moon cakes savoured.
Tea leaves unfurl in brews delicate,
As ancient views crowd the fortune-tellers.
In this vibrant market, stories unfold,
Of tales of old and legends untold,
In a harmonious blend, the East meets West,
In this oriental market, time transcends.
